Books and book clubs can pull you up out of your world when life gets tough, or just be a wonderful social outlet. Joining a book club is both an escape and a journey into something rich and wonderful, sometimes when you really need it. It's a safe place to exchange and challenge ideas. And it's often a lot of fun!
The Glen Morris United Church Book Club meets once a month from September to June, the first Monday of the month at 2:00pm at the home of one of the members or in the Robson Room at the church.  We are given 1 month to read the book which is currently selected from the Waterloo Region Library 'Book Club in a Bag' program.
Our group is very casual, not too academic but we do read books that may be out of our comfort zone or we might not have chosen ourselves. Check out this interesting but fun group.
